GRANDES JORASSES: WARNING

Considering the advice note of the Geological Service of the Regionof Valle d’Aosta of 19/08/2009,concerning the forecast of ice volume collapses of Whymper hanging Glacier of Grandes Jorasses,

that these ice collapses, even if they aren’t dangerous for people at the bottom of the valley, can be a  serious danger for who hike over the access path of Boccalatte-Piolti refuges and thealpinist ways under the Whymper Glacier. Therefore by-law n° 2207 of 20/08/2009
