2010 International Snow Science Worksphop

Si terrà in California, nella Squaw Valley, dal 17 al 22 ottobre 2010 l'International Symposium of Snow Science and avalanche a cui partecipano i tecnici dell'Ufficio Neve e Valanghe della Fondazione Montagna sicura con la presentazione di 4 poster ed una presentazione orale.
I lavori sono i seguenti:
a. poster: “Full-depth avalanches and soil erosion: an experimental site in Aosta Valley (NW Italian Alps)”;
b. poster: “Infrasound monitoring of snow avalanches activity in the Italian Alps”;
c. poster: “A new system of rapidly installed avalanche barriers”;
d. poster: “Free-ride: local evaluation of avalanche danger in Valgrisenche-Aosta Valley (I)”;
e. presentazione orale: “A quick winter solution for hazard mitigation in the deposition area – application in the Aosta Valley – NW Italian Alps”.
